Your mission is simple: launch your own mini business and raise as much money as possible for our school by selling products or services to friends, neighbours, and relatives. Every pound you earn helps make Bolingbroke Academy an even better place.

🏆Special Awards

The enterprise competition gives pupils an opportunity to gain additional school recognition for their hard work by winning a prestigious Enterprise Community Greyhound award as well as some Golden tickets

Anyone raising £800+ will win a Gold Enterprise Community Greyhound award + 5 Golden Tickets
Anyone raising £500+ will win a Silver Enterprise Community Greyhound award + 4 Golden Tickets
Anyone raising £300+ will win a Bronze Enterprise Community Greyhound award + 3 Golden Tickets
Anyone raising £100+ will win 2 Golden Tickets

How do I take part? What do I need to do?

Register to enter

Please ask your parents or carers to fill the registration form for each pupil no later than Monday 5th of October.

You can start selling as soon as you registered. Pupils can take part individually or in a team of no more than 4

Work out how you will make money and organise your products and services together with your team mates.

Get selling!

Remember, the goal is to make as much money as possible but everyone who takes part is playing an important part in improving our school

Make sure you are polite and respectful at all times - you are representing our school and its values

And make sure your parents / carers always know what you are doing, who you are with and where you are

Later on Tuesday 3rd of November, your parents will receive an email if you are one of the winning teams!

The school will also be contacted to make sure they are made aware of the participants who won golden tickets and greyhound awards

Here are some ideas to get you thinking…

Hints and tips

Stay safe and do not take any risks when selling your products and services. Make sure the adults you live with always know where you are and who you are with
Decide a product that you want to sell or a service that you want to offer - there are a few ideas above to give you some inspiration
Work out how to make it happen - what supplies or equipment do you need? How much time do you have to do this? Who can help you with this?
Think carefully about the price - too high and people won’t buy, too low and you might not be making the most money you can
Who will your customers be and where are they? You can’t sell at school so who else can you sell to - your neighbours, friends, relatives, a club you go to?
How will you tell them about your sale? Send a WhatsApp message to your street? Give out fliers? Go door-to-door? Set up a stall?
Fill the RegistrationForm at the beginning so you know what information you have to provide
Make sure you know the deadlines! Register by Monday 5th of October , Submit the completion form and transfer the money you raised by 6pm on Sunday 1st of November.

Competition rules

Parents / carers need to complete the registration form for their child to take part
As this competition takes place outside of school parents are required to provide adequate supervision for their children at all times.

All money raised must be transferred to the Bolingbroke PA bank account by 6pm on 1st of November with the submission of the completion form (see above).
The teams that raise the most money will win
The winning teams will be announced by email to parents
