London Bridges Challenge Walk

We had a brilliant day in the spring sunshine hiking 18km and criss-crossing all the Thames bridges from Bermondsey Station to Battersea High Street
50 parents and pupils teamed up to take on our brand new sponsored walk challenge to raise invaluable funds for our school
The atmosphere was sociable and supportive as we chatted our way across 14 bridges, battling crowds of tourists, the spring breeze and sore feet to complete the walk in triumph
We can assure our very generous sponsors that we did you credit and more than earned your donations!
We thank you all very much for your kind support which made the whole effort worthwhile and will make such a difference to our school ❤

Total distance walked 18km (11.2 miles)
14 bridges crossed (counting both sides of Hungerford Bridge)
