  • What to do IF you become a victim!

We asked Liz to tell us a little about her interest in cyber security and her professional background:

Liz Banbury, Bolingbroke parent and cyber security expert

I have been in the Cyber/ Information Security space for 10 years firstly as the Regional Portfolio manager for Information Security & Technology Risk within the Information Security Office at ANZ Bank, from there moved to Standard Chartered Bank where I headed up the Information and Cyber Security Policy function Since Q4, 2021 I have worked at Hiscox Insurance as the Chief Information Security Officer.

I’m passionate about what I do and particularly interested in people and the impact that behaviour and culture have on security holistically.   Cyber Security is a very interesting, dynamic, fast moving, fast changing area where I feel that everyone should have a certain basic level of knowledge in the key threats we face and the controls that need to be put in place to safeguard themselves and their assets both at home and in the workplace.

This event is completely free of charge and we thank Liz warmly for giving us her time.
